DAVID SILVA will not feature as Manchester City travel to Newcastle on Wednesday night, according to reports.
The 31-year-old returned for the Bournemouth clash, but he has reportedly now gone back to Spain.
Silva missed the Citizens 4-1 victory over Tottenham after jetting back to Spain for 'personal reasons'.
He handed the Manchester side a huge boost when he returned to training ahead of the home match against the Cherries.
The 31-year-old was then named in Pep Guardiola's line-up for Saturday's fixture.
City won 4-0, with a brace form Sergio Aguero and goals from Raheem Sterling and Danilo.
Pep Guardiola's side enter the clash looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
They are currently 12 points ahead of Manchester United, with a game in a hand.
