BRITISH sprinter Nigel Levine has allegedly failed a drugs test for banned steroid clenbuterol.
Levine, who was involved in a serious motorbike accident in January, is said to be awaiting the result of a B sample.
The European gold medallist and three-time world indoor medallist, 28, no longer uses Olympic legend Linford Christie as a sprint coach.
The report links him with Robert Wagner, the race agent also linked to Justin Gatlin.
Although several British athletics insiders are said to be aware of the failed test, UK Athletics have declined to comment.
Austrian Wagner is alleged to have offered undercover reporters “illicitly supply performance-enhancing drugs”.

Both Gatlin and Wagner deny the allegations.
Clenbuterol is used by people with breathing disorders like asthma, as well as for weight loss.
It was the substance that led to Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador being stripped of his 2010 Tour de France and 2011 Giro d’Italia wins.
Levine suffered a broken pelvis and missed the entire 2017 track season after a motorcycle crash in Spain at the start of the year.
He was left fighting for his career along with James Ellington, after the duo collided with an oncoming car.
Levine has now returned to training, dividing his time between Christie's group at Brunel University and the elite British squad at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre.
Levine is yet to comment on the allegations.
