Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has ‘no words to describe’ Kevin De Bruyne after Tottenham thrashing
The Citizens thumped Mauricio Pochettino's side 4-1 to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 14 points
PEP GUARDIOLA has hailed Kevin De Bruyne with praise after Manchester City's explosive display against Tottenham.
The Belgian midfielder ran the show as his side triumphed 4-1 at the Etihad on Saturday.
De Bruyne scored in the Premier League fixture just moments after surviving a horror stamp from Dele Alli.
He put the game to bed with yet another sublime left-footed strike finish that left Hugo Lloris helpless between the sticks.
After the final whistle, reported that Pep Guardiola said: "I say thank you to all my players, especially Kevin because he is one of the most talented players and you see how he runs with the ball.
"He is a good example for the young players, for our academy players.
"They know how good Kevin De Bruyne is and when they see how he runs and he fights for the ball, that is the best example and he helps us to a better club for the future.
"His performance today - I have no words to describe."
