Strasbourg 2 Paris Saint-Germain 1: Kylian Mbappe’s equaliser cancelled out by Stephane Bahoken to snatch points from Ligue 1 leaders

Nuno da Costa opened the scoring after 14 minutes to give the underdogs an early advantage at Stade de la Meinau

NEWLY-PROMOTED Strasbourg put the brakes on Paris Saint-Germain by becoming the first team to beat the runaway Ligue 1 leaders this season with a shock 2-1 win.

Stephane Bahoken downed Neymar and company with a bullet finish in the 65th minute to drag the lowly home side away from relegation trouble.

The home side have now rocketed up to 14th in the French top-flight and gave Marseille the chance to close the gap on Unai Emery's side.

Da Costa opened the scoring after being beating the offside trap following a Strasbourg free kick.

The 26-year-old charged through and gave the visitors a lead after just 14 minutes.

Mbappe levelled the scoring just before the interval after a convincing spell for the Ligue 1 leaders.

He picked up a delivery from Rabiot and slotted it past Bingourou Kamara.

Striker Bahoken struck just as Unai Emery's side looked primed to snatch the three points, but then Bahoken produced a moment of magic.

The Frenchman latched onto a flick from Da Costa, before thumping the winner past Alphonse Areola.

PSG registered their first defeat all competitions since April.

Unai Emery's side will be looking to bounce back when they face Lille OSC next Saturday.
