Everton fans turn against new manager Sam Allardyce at Goodison Park during West Ham clash
The Ex-England chief has been called in to save the Toffees from relegation following the sacking of Ronald Koeman
EVERTON’S appointment of Sam Allardyce has been met with mixed reviews by Toffees fans.
One fan even created her own banner to show her disapproval of the new boss at Goodison Park.
The sign read: ‘I SUPPORT EVERTON but NOT ALLARDYCE’.
Allardyce bagged the Toffees job on Wednesday and watched from the sidelines as Everton hosted the Hammers.
Caretaker manager David Unsworth remained in charge of the Blues for tonight’s fixture.
But the Ex-England boss is expected to relieve the caretaker manager of his duties ahead of the next match.
Everton have slumped into a spell of bad form following the departure of Ronald Koeman after a horror start to the season.
A 5-1 defeat at home to Atalanta was followed by a 4-1 rout at Southampton to pile the pressure on the Toffees.
BIG SUM Allardyce’s £100k-a-week Everton deal makes him one of the world’s best paid managers
In a bid to save the club from relegation, the Merseyside squad will be forking out £100,000-a-week to secure Allardyce’s services.
But it appears that the ex-England was the wrong choice, according to furious fans on Twitter.
