Taylor, 57, a 16-time world champion, has travelled the world over the past 30 years and rarely had a break to join reality TV.

But in the New Year, once he enters an period of 'retirement', he fancies his chances of surviving in the Australian Jungle.

Popular ITV show 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' kicks-off on Sunday.

Taylor said: “I would do the jungle. Strictly I am not sure, though it would do me the world of good as it would get me fit.
