Manchester United and Arsenal set their sights on Barcelona winger who scored in senior debut
Both Premier League clubs believe 22-year-old Jose Arnaiz would suit the style of play in England.
BARCELONA's new wonder-kid has left Manchester United and Arsenal vying for his signature.
Jose Arnaiz scored in his first senior debut for the Catalan giants after joining from a second division team in August.
Barcelona secured a 3-0 win over Real Murcia during the first leg of their fourth-round Copa del Rey clash.
But it was the 22-year-old that stole the show, with his powerful strike from outside the penalty area, and scored the final goal of the game.
The winger made an impressive debut against the third-tier side and received praise from Barcelona's manager, Ernsesto Valverde, who said: "He scored a great goal, he has a powerful shot. It’s a first step. We’ll see if we can help us more.’
Arnaiz has made regular appearances for Barcelona's reserve team, but with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez rested it afforded the youngster his first call up.
