Amir Khan calls out Floyd Mayweather as Kell Brook urges rival to stop playing ‘kiss-chase’ and fight him instead
British ace reveals he's looking to make stunning ring comeback after being KO'd by Canelo Alvarez in 2016
KELL BROOK has told Amir Khan to stop playing “kiss-chase” with Floyd Mayweather and agree to an all-British boxing bout instead.
Khan is looking to make his first appearance in the ring since his 2016 knockout by Canelo Alvarez.
And the 30-year-old has firmly set his sights on veteran Mayweather, who came out of retirement to defeat Conor McGregor in a mega-money fight in August.
When quizzed over a potential clash with the American on Twitter, Khan said: “Who knows? Floyd is a great fighter I just hav (sic) something he’s not faced, speed.
“Floyd knows I’m not the 1 to back down. I know it’s been a year I’ve not fough (sic) due to (a) hand surgery.
“I’m ready to make comeback at 30 years of age. Say what you like Canelo was getting out boxed. I was winning on (the) cards.
“He had power and caught me with a huge right (hand). That’s Boxing. Mayweather doesn’t have the power… in any fight I’ve never been outboxed.
“Mayweather khan (sic) fight would be a game of chess. Speed, movement and accuracy will cause him problems.”

But fellow Brit Brook instead thinks Khan should be knocking on his door for a fight instead of trying to coax Mayweather out of retirement for a second time.
Brook tweeted: “If you wanna play kiss-chase with retired men shame, really. Get in with me n I’ll fast track ya into collection your pension.”
