WWE latest news: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view match under threat after outbreak of meningitis strikes wrestling stars
Bray Wyatt's clash with Finn Balor is doubt as the Eater of Worlds and several other of Monday Night Raw's wrestlers are struck down by the viral infection
WWE is reportedly facing a crisis after an outbreak of meningitis amongst its top wrestlers has put Sunday's Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view under threat.
Former world champion Bray Wyatt is one of those believed to have been struck down by the illness on the Raw Brand.
The claim that Wyatt's real life brother and fellow grappler Bo Dallas and ring announcer JoJo Offerman are also suffering with viral meningitis.
And the outbreak has sparked fear within WWE owner Vince McMahon, who was this week linked with a takeover bid for Premier League side Newcastle United, and his fellow top brass of the world's largest wrestling promotion.
The talent are all believed to be suffering from the infection which attacks the spinal cord and protective membranes around the brain.
The rest of the stars on the Raw brand are understandably worried about catching the dangerous illness too.
It can easily be spread by sneezing, coughing and close physical contact.
And it could have a major impact on Sunday's TLC PPV.

Ryan Satin, who runs Wrestling Sheet, said on Twitter: "Hearing this viral meningitis scare on the Raw roster is very real and could definitely affect the TLC card."
And WWE analyst Justin LaBar confirmed that Bray, Bo and JoJo were all suffering with viral meningitis.
Wyatt is due to take on Finn Balor in one of the show's main events this Sunday - but fans could miss out on the highly-anticipated clash.
Pro Wrestling Votes added to the speculation by tweeted: "Bray, Bo and JoJo have been off TV due to an illness. I will not report personal details, however that is the reason.
"I am hearing other Superstars may indeed be suffering from the same illness, and it may drastically impact Sunday's PPV event."
Wyatt and JoJo have remained travelling on the road for various shows but are said to have been kept separate from the main roster.
Meanwhile, Bo has been sent home to recover in an effort to stop the further spread of infection.
