Stokes, along with Alex Hales, have been charged by the governing body on two counts of breaching ECB Directive 3.3.

This states that "no participant may conduct themself in a manner or do any act or omission at any time which may be prejudicial to the interests of cricket or which may bring the ECB, the game of cricket or any cricketer or group of cricketers into disrepute."

The trial heard that Stokes mocked two gay men and flicked a cigarette butt at one of them before brawling with two other men.

It came hours after England's win against the West Indies in a one-day international in Bristol - and Stokes was eventually found not guilty.

However, the attention the Durham star has received surrounding the incident could put him in trouble with the sport.

His Disciplinary Panel hearing will be held on Wednesday, December 5 and Friday, December 7.
