FIFA 18 released: Manchester United ace Paul Pogba accidentally reveals he uses PES controls while playing game
MANCHESTER UNITED star Paul Pogba has let slip that he uses PES controls when he plays Fifa.
The France international was trying to describe former team-mate Paulo Dybala using the video game for reference.
And Pogba, 24, admitted he used the square button to shoot - instead of the traditional circle for PlayStation gamers.
He said: “I call Dybala ‘Square R2’. That’s the combination you press on PlayStation to do a turn and shot. He always scores like that.
“Has he surprised me? No, because I always said he was a phenomenon. To do what he has done, playing for Juve, is something phenomenal.”
United fans were dismayed to learn Pogba has been rated lower than Mesut Ozil on Fifa 18, which is released at the end of the month.
The Old Trafford playmaker has been given an 87 - one mark shy of the Arsenal maestro and the same as N'Golo Kante.
Bemused supporters pointed to the fact Pogba was named fans' player of the month for August after a superb start - recently derailed by a hamstring injury.
Ozil, meanwhile, has struggled so far as he enters the final season of his Gunners deal.
One of the United faithful even went as far as to suggest a boycott over Pogba's rating!
