His house, which borders a travellers’ site, is now on the market.

A neighbour said: “He’s had all sorts of problems with them. There have been suggestions they tapped into his water supply.

“It happened while he was in America. He came back and a massive water bill arrived. I’m told he went up there.”

A YouTube video called Traveller Beef also shows a trailer ploughing into Bruno’s borders in the home counties.

The former world heavyweight champ is seen driving on to their site, and saying: “I’m not disrespecting you.

"I’m trying to talk to you like a man — but I would just like it put back how it was before.”

Bruno, who was at a health spa this weekend, moved into the five-bed property in 2006.

A traveller at the site said of his decision to sell: “It could have something to do with some run-ins he’s had with people here.

“He’s a lovely man.”

Pictures taken outside the property also reveal evidence of drug abuse.

Canisters of nitrous oxide - also known as "laughing gas" or "hippy crack" - are seen strewn across the street.

Balloons for inhaling the gas are also visible.
