Amir Khan reveals he will retire in TWO years time and vows to win another world title
British boxer was speaking as a pundit on BoxNation ahead of Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin
AMIR KHAN says he will retire from boxing in two years time.
The 30-year-old said he is eyeing another world title before calling an end to an illustrious career after turning professional in 2005.
Speaking as a pundit ahead of Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin on BoxNation, Khan said: "I want to win another world title then call it a day.
"I've got two more years left in me."
So far during his pro career Khan has won 31 fights and lost on just four occasions.
His last time in a ring saw him get knocked out by Canelo in May last year in Las Vegas.
Khan is a former unified light-welterweight world champion, from 2009 to 2012 - having held the WBA and the IBF title.
As an amateur, Khan won a silver medal in the lightweight division at the Olympics in 2004.

Also, during the build up to Canelo vs GGG, Khan has warned Golovkin not underestimate Alvarez's speed.
He said: “I didn’t expect him to be that fast in the ring.
“I thought I’d see everything in the ring and move away from him but he was very quick and very, very powerful."
He added: "In one round, [Canelo] lifted me up.
“That was when I thought ‘this guy is very powerful’."
