David Haye says he wants to fight Anthony Joshua in 2018 after returning to the ring in December
Former heavyweight champ eyes Battle of Britain with man who will defend IBF belt against Kubrat Pulev next month
DAVID HAYE is targeting a Battle of Britain with Anthony Joshua - after returning to the ring in December.
The former heavyweight champion has not fought since his March defeat to Tony Bellew.
Haye ruptured his achilles during that 11th-round stoppage and later posted a graphic image of the extent of the damage as he underwent surgery.
But the Bermondsey-born bruiser, 36, looked in good shape as he posed topless with son Cassius in an Instagram video.
And he insisted he will be back in December with an official announcement to be made in the next two weeks.
Haye said: "I will hold the next fight in December. We will announce everything in the next two weeks and the fight itself will be held in England."
After that comes - hopefully - the showdown with AJ.

And Haye, who last won a fight against Arnold Gjergjaj back in May last year, suggested he thinks he can get the better of Joshua too.
He said: "Of course I want a fight against Joshua in 2018."
