Trevor Sinclair scores twice to regain advantage from Mo Farah’s early strike at Grenfell charity match

The two team's will be playing in front of a sell-out crowd of 17,000 at the QPR ground

A number of current and ex sporting legends have arrived to partake in the charity match that will raise money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster.

The two team’s include a number of household names that will be raising money following a horrific fire tragedy on 14 June that killed at least 80 people.

The lists will include the likes of Les Ferdinand, David Seaman, Trevor Sinclair, Alan Shearer, Andy Sinton, Jody Morris, Ally McCoist and Paul Merson.

Olympic legend Mo Farah will also be swapping his spikes for some studs and playing under the management of Alan Shearer.

Ahead of the game, he said: “It is very close to my heart, it was not nice what happened.

“Weve got to be strong and support each other. I love football and this is what it’s all about.”

While, Marcus Mumford, Olly Murs, Wretch 32, Ben Shephard, Damian Lewis, DJ Spoony, Tinie Tempah, Jarvis Cocker, Darren Campbell, Jamie Dornan, Richard Ashcroft, Serge Pizzorno, Tamer Hassan, Ben Cohen and James Bay will also feature.

More than 14,000 tickets for the match between two celebrity sides have been sold, with a further 3,000 given to survivors.

Les Ferdinand will be managing one team, while former England skipper Alan Shearer will be in charge of the opposition.

Queens Park Rangers are hosting the event and have also provided six weeks of free football sessions for over 800 boys and girls from the area.
