West Ham have season-long loan bid for Everton star Kevin Mirallas rejected

The Toffees are willing to let the midfielder leave, but they are determined to cash in on the player with a permanent deal
 

EVERTON have reportedly rejected a season-long loan offer from West Ham for Kevin Mirallas.

The Toffees have received a wide range of interest regarding the winger, but boss Ronald Koeman is only looking to offload him on a permanent basis.

West Ham are keen to bolster their attacking options following the departure of Robert Snodgrass to Aston Villa on a season-long loan.

Mirallas’s Merseyside future plunged into doubt after he was dropped from the squad that lost 2-0 to Chelsea, with the Everton boss questioning his attitude.

Greek giants Olympiakos have also voiced their interest in bringing back Mirallas to the Karaiskakis Stadium

Since joining the Toffees for £6m in 2012, the 29-year-old has tallied a total of 39 goals in 177 appearances.

He has three years remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park, but he appears to have fallen out of favour under the management of Koeman.

The Toffees are looking to recoup some funds after spending £45million this summer on securing Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Slaven Bilic will be keen to introduce some new faces on deadline day following a shaky start to the league campaign.

However, unless they can offer a permanent position for Mirallas, then Koeman is unlikely to do business.
