LES FERDINAND enjoyed an illustrious career as a professional footballer and is now continuing to do great things behind the scenes following his retirement.
Ferdinand has helped arrange the Game for Grenfell which will raise funds for the victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster.
Who did Les Ferdinand play for?
Ferdinand began his pro career at Hayes in 1986 before moving to QPR the following year.
Following an eight-year spell, which consisted of loan spells to Brentford and Besiktas, he joined Newcastle.
He played for the Magpies from 1995-1997, before he joined Spurs where he went on to make over 100 appearances.
From 2003 to 2006 he played for West Ham, Leicester, Bolton, Reading and Watford.
He is the eighth highest scorer in the Premier League with 149 goals.
He went on to make 17 appearances for England, scoring on five occasions.
What does Les Ferdinand do now?
In February 2015, he became the director of football at QPR.
As well as helping to arranged the Game for Grenfell, since being a director of football, he also cycled to Holland from London for charity.
He covered 145-miles on two wheels for prostate cancer.
When is Game for Grenfell charity match?
The star-studded line ups will go head to head on Saturday, September 2nd.
The game will kick off at 3pm.
The match will take place at Loftus Road.

Les Ferdinand, David Seaman, Trevor Sinclair, Alan Shearer, Andy Sinton, Jody Morris, Ally McCoist and Paul Merson, are amongst the ex-pros who will line up at Loftus Road.
