Boozy Birmingham City fan falls asleep in stadium loo — and MISSES his side’s 2-0 loss at St Andrew’s to Reading

Blues supporter woke to find the crowd gone and had to find out the final score from a cleaner.

He had no idea of the score when he approached a cleaner, saying: “Oi mate, I fell asleep in the toilet — in the cubicle — how do I get out?”

He added as the worker pointed him in the right direction: “Did Blues win?”

The cleaner had to break it to him: “They lost.” Phone footage taken by the fan himself and posted on the web shows him trudging to the exit around half an hour after the 2-0 home loss to Championship rivals Reading.

Almost 20,000 had been at St Andrew’s for Saturday’s game.

The supporter, left, is heard muttering: “I’ve been sick all over myself.”
