MIKE DEAN has sent Twitter into meltdown after his decision-making in injury time of the Bournemouth versus Manchester City game was classed as “pathetic”.

The referee not only added on five minutes of injury time which ran into ten minutes but within that time Raheem Sterling put City in the lead and was given a red card.

The sending off sent Twitter into a meltdown

One Twitter user wrote: “Mike Dean, wanting the limelight as usual. What a terrible referee.”

Another posted: “Mike Dean – what a tool. No understanding of what football means, missed numerous bad tackles, once again made it all about him.”

A fellow user said: “Where the hell is Mike Dean getting this added-added time from?!”
