Conor McGregor warns Floyd Mayweather only Bruce Lee could prepare him for their fight
CONOR McGREGOR warned Floyd Mayweather that only sparring with Bruce Lee would prepare the boxer for what is coming for him.
Mayweather, 40, has trained with fellow boxers in the run-up to his cross-sports bout against UFC king McGregor.
The Irishman, on the other hand, has drafted in the likes of former two-weight boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi to help him adjust to Mayweather's style.
McGregor, 28, told : "What other mixed martial artist is there like me? He’d need to reincarnate Bruce Lee, and that would be the only person he could bring in that could mimic me with the way that I’m coming at him.
"I am not like any other mixed martial artist. I am not like any other boxer. I am in a league of my own, and I’ll prove that August 26."
McGregor - or Mystic Mac - predicts he will KO Mayweather in the second round.
And he insists he is ready for the performance of his lifetime in what will be a revolutionary fight.
He said: "Everything has been absolutely perfect.
