Shane Warne looks as though he needs to shift a pound or two after he shocks with dramatic weight gain
Former Aussie Test spinner was a world-beater; now his latest test is to beat the flab and reduce his expanding waistline
SHANE WARNE'S waistline seems to have taken a turn for the worst.
The ex-Aussie spin king has weaved some magic in his time but there looks to a slim chance of him measuring up like the old days any time soon.
Admittedly Warne, 47, has seen his waistline fluctuate over the years.
But compared to the period in his life when he was engaged to actress Liz Hurley he sure looks as though he needs to shed a few pounds.
The former cricket world-beater displayed his latest paunch when he hit the golf course in Melbourne.
A growing stomach and a short, grey and red beard certainly contrasted with his old fighting weight.
Warne was spotted walking the golf course with a male friend, giving his mate a few pointers along the way.
To his credit he carried his clubs, opting not to get a golf buggy or put his bag on a holder with wheels.
