Chelsea boss Antonio Conte not improving £15m Danny Drinkwater bid leaving Leicester star with uncertain future

Leicester are holding out for £30m for the England international as Chelsea move onto new targets.

CHELSEA have yet to return with an improved offer for Leicester's Danny Drinkwater.

Antonio Conte's side had a £15million bid rejected for the midfielder earlier this summer.

According to the , the Foxes are demanding £30m for the 27-year-old in today's inflated market.

Drinkwater is reportedly keen to hold talks with the Premier League champions but won't push for an exit from Leicester.

Despite Chelsea's Premier League campaign getting underway at home to Burnley on Saturday, Conte will not be rushed into making a panic buy with the window shutting at the end of the month.

It has been an infuriating window for the Italian gaffer having lost a string of key players.
