Tottenham dealt blow in pursuit for striker Patrik Schick as agent confirms he will cost more than £20m
The Sampdoria striker has attracted interest from a number of clubs following an impressive maiden season in Serie A
PATRIK SCHICK'S agent Pavel Paska has reportedly confirmed that the Czech striker will come armed with a price tag considerably above £20m.
Tottenham are among a handful of Europe's biggest sides that are scrambling for the 21-year-old's signature.
If Tottenham are to sign the youngster, they will be expected to fork out a fee above the player's release clause - according to .
The striker was set to join Juventus last month for £26million, but the striker failed his medical due to a heart problem and the move collapsed.
Following the cardiac issue, the 21-year-old has been given the green light to begin training again.
The Czech international currently remains without an official squad number for the Italian outfit.
Agent Pavel Paska told : "We need to agree on the next step with Sampdoria, seeing as the release clause expired on July, 15.
"One thing is for certain, the price for the player will be considerably higher than the release clause.
"There are three clubs in the running.
"The transfer window in Italy runs until August 31. At the moment we are only at the starting line."
Roma, Napoli and Monaco are among the clubs interested in the Sampdoria's wonderkid.
Schick tallied a total of 11 goals during his maiden season with Marco Giampaolo's side.
The in-demand striker began his career with Sparta Prague, before going out on loan to Bohemians 1905.
He capped 35 appearances for the Italian side last season, but refused to extend his contract in May, 2017.
