PETR CECH returned to his homeland to take part in Martin Havlat's ice hockey testimonial.
The Arsenal ace gave up his childhood dream of playing ice hockey as the cost of the equipment was too expensive, before turning his focus to football.
In the video, Arsenal's shot-stopper can be seen sporting a red jersey, with Havlat's name embroidered into the front.
This event was held for the Czech professional who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League.
Cech can be seen gliding onto the ice confidently, padded from head-to-toe in ice hockey goalkeeping gear.
The Arsenal keeper was the only non-ice hockey player involved in the fixture and the professionals exploited this weakness.
Cech conceded three goals during the first period of the match, but he did make a handful of quick reaction saves.
Following his brief appearance, the 35-year-old made it clear that he was going to be returning to Arsenal's pre-season training imminently.
After the game he said: "I had to promise Arsenal that I would come back immediately after the match.
"I've got training in the morning, it was only a quick trip.
"You have to know your limits, do it reasonably and don't get too tired. Spending one period on the ice is good exercise for me, a great experience and very enjoyable."
The Czech shot-stopper rejoined the rest of the Arsenal squad for a training session ahead of their Premier League opener against Leicester on Friday.
Mesut Ozil made a heroic return to the London Colney training ground just in time for the new campaign after recovering fully from an ankle injury.
However, the Gunners are set to start their first two league fixtures without the services of their talisman - Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean striker will remain out of action with an abdominal strain.
Aaron Ramsey joined Cech and the rest of the squad at the training facility, despite concerns that a calf injury would see the midfielder start the season on the sidelines.
