Sexiest sportswomen take to Austria to compete in the FIBV Beach Volleyball World Championships in Vienna
Competitors from Brazil, Canada, America, Germany and Argentina are all in action in the Round of 32 stage
THE elimination stages of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships kicked off today, with five Brazilian pairs all in contention of winning.
Players from around the globe are competing in Vienna, Austria, as they look to be crowned as the world's best in the sexiest sport.
Over 10,000 fans can be packed inside the Red Bull Beach Arena to get a glimpse of the beach beauties, but there are no British women in action.
The American pair of Summer Ross and Brooke Sweat kicked off today's matches as they ensured their passage into the next round, before Marleen Ramond-Van Iersel and Manon Nummerdor-Flier of the Netherlands lost 2-0 to the Czech pair of Kristyna Kolocova and Michala Kvapilova.
Two Brazilian pairs - Maria Antonelli and Carolina Solberg Salgado, and Eliza Maia and Taiana Lima cruised into the Round of 16.
While 2015 world champ Barbara Seixas and Fernanda Alves crashed out against Canadian pair Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes.
The duo - ranked No.2 in the 2017 World Tour won Pool G with a 3-0 record.
Fellow Canadians Camille Saxton and Julie Gordon exited the tournament at the Round of 32 stage, losing to the Finnish and pair of Riika Lehtonen and Taru Lahti-Liukonnen.

Speaking before their clash, Saxton said: "We didn't really have expectations coming into the tournament, we just wanted to play our best.
"We played really well in pool play against some hard teams. We're happy to be in the round of 32 and excited for the playoffs and we'll do our best there."
However they were comfortably beaten, losing 14-21 15-21, while the German pairing of Julia Sude and Chantal Labourer beat their compatriots Nadja Glenzke and Julia Grossner.
Top seeds - Brazilians Larissa Franca and Talita Antunes face Argentina's formidable duo of Ana Gallay and Maria Zonta.
A whopping total of 40 countries boasting 96 teams took part at the start of action last week, with participants from Morocco, Iran, Trinidad and Tobago, Kenya, Costa Rica and Rwanda all vying to win.
None of them have made it past the group stages.
