Chelsea transfer news: Brazilian starlet Richarlison closing in on Stamford Bridge switch as Blues beat rivals to the punch
West Londoners using their extensive scouting network in Brazil to good use as they target Fluminense forward
CHELSEA are closing in on in-demand Brazil forward Richarlison, according to reports.
The Fluminense star, 20, is on the radar of AC Milan, Inter Milan and Sampdoria after a number of stellar performances.
But Blues chiefs have stolen a march on their rivals and are closing in on a deal, according to Sky Italy.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte hinted there was more to come after landing Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
And it appears Richarlison could be following Kennedy - another former Fluminense talent - to London.
The pacey Brazil Under-20s star likes to play out wide and is a nightmare for defenders with his awkward style and low centre of gravity.
He also has an eye for goal and has managed ten strikes in 21 league matches so far this season.
Chelsea have invested heavily in a Brazilian scouting network to keep tabs on the South American powerhouse's top young talents.
David Luiz and Willian were key parts of the title-winning squad, while Kennedy is a potential superstar in the making.
Richarlison would likely be sent out on loan if he completes a move to get him used to European football at a lower level.
