But that's cut price compared to a top end seat costing £31,500 when Mayweather took on eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao

TICKETS for the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor combat extravagana go on sale from Monday priced from £385 to £7,696!

That compares to the £77.60 it will cost for pay-per-view in the US.

And the prices are certainly favourable when compared to when Mayweather fought eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao.

On that occasion prices ranged from £2,278 to £31,530.

The hotly-anticipated cross-sports match at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26 will be available on the website .

Fans are restricted to only two tickets each purchase.

But not everyone will be able to purchase a ticket - as the sites small print states.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerb said: "It is vital that we provide our fans with a fair opportunity to purchase tickets to this unprecedented event...

 

"This is a fight derived from the fans and should be available to be enjoyed by fans.

"It was necessary for us to partner with Ticketmaster Verified Fan for an event at this magnitude to provide everyone with a safe, worry-free method to purchase tickets."

The program gives fans the opportunity to receive a unique offer code and link to use when purchasing tickets for the historic event.

To receive a code, fans must first be verified through the registration process.

Registering does not guarantee you will receive a code, nor have the ability to purchase tickets.

Only fans who receive a unique code will have the chance to purchase tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.

On the pay-per-view front,  of the Los Angeles Times reports that the prices will match the fees for Mayweather’s bout with Pacquiao.

That fight took over £350million in PPV sales alone, which is due to be eclipsed by the McGregor clash.
