Dana White’s shock confession after watching Conor McGregor train ahead of Floyd Mayweather showdown
UFC president believes there is only one way in which the Irishman can beat the undefeated champ
UFC president Dana White says Conor McGregor is "not a boxer" after watching footage of the Irishman in training.
The Notorious is in Las Vegas to embark on six gruelling weeks of training before his mega-money fight against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather.
And White, who was the key figure in arranging the richest fight in history, believes McGregor's only hope of beating 'the best defensive fighter ever' is by knockout.
He said: "All I've seen are stuff that he's [McGregor] sent me, videos that he's sent me.
"Listen he's not a boxer, at the end of the day, Conor McGregor is not a boxer, he's a fighter.
"Conor McGregor is the bigger, stronger guy and needs to hit Floyd Mayweather and needs to hurt him.
"I don't see him out-pointing Floyd in a boxing match. I see him getting in, turning it into a fight and roughing Floyd up.
"I believe in this fight Floyd is going to fight traditionally the way that Floyd fights, the best defensive fighter ever.

"I think he's going to stay on his toes he's going to move around a lot - he's going to try and stay away from McGregor.
"I think McGregor goes straight after him and tries to rough him up and tries to knock him out. "
Meanwhile McGregor 'was knocked out in a sparring session by Bradley Wheeler' ahead of the mega-fight.
Former two-weight boxing champion Jessie Vargas amazingly claimed during an interview with that Essex MMA fighter Bradley Wheeler has already floored the UFC star.
