Floyd Mayweather sparks homophobic storm after calling Conor McGregor a ‘f****t’ while accusing UFC star of calling black people ‘dancing monkeys’

The legendary 49-0 boxer stoked the flames regarding UFC star's alleged racism while promoting super-fight

FLOYD MAYWEATHER sparked a homophobic storm after labelling Conor McGregor a "f****t" - while accusing the UFC star of calling black people “monkeys”.

UFC star McGregor appeared to use the term “dancing monkeys” in relation to an all-black gym from a scene in 1982 movie Rocky III, while the 49-0 boxer fired the vile term at McGregor during their X-rated London press conference.

The Irishman denied making racial slurs but fight rival Mayweather insisted: “He totally disrespected black women. He called black people monkeys.

He disrespected the mother of my daughter. I’m not gonna stoop that low.

“Some levels you just don’t cross.”

McGregor’s comments came on the New York leg of the worldwide tour to promote their £1BILLION Las Vegas super-fight on August 27.

He was asked on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! who would win between him and Sylvester Stallone’s character in Rocky III.

McGregor replied: “Rocky III, that’s the one with the dancing monkeys in the gym.”

Defending himself in MMA Fighting, McGregor, 29, said: “It’s ridiculous. Look at me, I’m coming out rapping to Biggie.”

Mayweather is a polarising individual in boxing given that in 2012 he served 60 days of a 90-day prison sentence for battering his ex-girlfriend in front of their children.

And defiant McGregor, referring to that specific jail time, added in London: “You can be fooled by him if you want.

“You know the man's character and his history. He’s trying to warp people in his way. It’s a cheap move. If he feels disrespected he’s an idiot and f*** him.

“I think it’s f***ing ridiculous. I don’t understand it. If he’s trying to talk about disrespecting, but I didn’t even speak about his past.

“If anything was a dirty play, this was it. I thought if you play that it’s a b***h move.”
