CONOR MCGREGOR has hit back at claims he used racial slurs after his heated press conferences with Floyd Mayweather.
The Irishman appeared to use the term 'dancing monkeys' to describe black people in relation to a scene from a Rocky film.
In an interview with late night American talk show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' he was asked who would win between him and Sylvester Stallone's character in Rocky III.
The UFC champ responded: "Rocky III, that's the one where he had that celebrity gym isn't it? With the dancing monkeys in the gym and all."
Mayweather has claimed that McGregor has 'crossed the line' but McGregor has fired back at claims that he is racist as 'ridiculous.'
Speaking to , he said: "That's ridiculous, how does that make sense.
"That's what's annoying me, that's why I wanted to bring it up today, in a playful way.
"I mean how could you say that when look at me for f*** sake, I'm coming out rapping play Biggie [The Notorious B.I.G.] - I pulled out Jay Z's album and all for f*** sake.

"I'm a big fan of the s***, I'm a big fan of the culture, all I listen to is rap," McGregor added.
"I'm just out there having fun, if he's [Mayweather] thinking I'm disrespecting and he's angry then so what - deal with it."
McGregor also risked more racist accusations during the first press conference in Los Angeles when he told Mayweather to 'dance for me boy'.
But Mayweather believes his opponent's comments will 'lose him fans.'
The American said: "'This is an event where two fighters are competing against one another. But saying a lot of racist things like toward black women, I have two black daughters, a black mother and of course I'm a black man.
"'I have a diverse team though. My staff is very diverse... he's crossing a line but I can't really focus on that right now... but he's losing a lot of fans by doing that."
