The return of the Premier League and fantasy football seasons are edging closer and closer by the day.
And in the 2017/18 campaign, Dream Team is back, bigger and better than ever.
So, without further ado, it's time to unveil the most expensive player on the Dream Team game this season is...
...Harry Kane.
The lethal Tottenham finisher racked up 305 points on the game last season, enough to earn him third place overall behind Sergio Aguero (307) and Alexis Sanchez (348).
But his total is all the more astonishing given the fact he missed nearly 11 weeks of the season through injury.
How did Kane get on in fantasy football last season?
- 29 goals and seven assists in the Premier League
- WhoScored rating of 7.68 - behind only Eden Hazard, Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba
- 305 points on Dream Team - behind only Alexis Sanchez and Sergio Aguero
Kane finished the season as the top scorer in the Premier League with 29 goals, firing back-to-back hat-tricks in Spurs' last two league games to snatch away the accolade from Romelu Lukaku.
And his prolific nature means he's a Dream Team points machine - and therefore completely justifies being the most expensive player - at £8m - on the game for the season ahead.
The so you can already start getting your teams in ahead of the new season.
Major new signings Alexandre Lacazette, Mohamed Salah and Bernardo Silva are all available while future acquisitions throughout the summer will be added when they are confirmed.
What's different this year?
Well the main - and rather large - difference this season is that Dream Team is completely free to play for all managers.
That doesn't mean the prize pot has diminished much though, with a whopping £750,000 at stake for the winners.
