ARSENAL have completed the transfer of talented young striker Jordan McEneff.
The 16-year-old Irishman has penned a two-year deal with the Gunners after impressing coaches on trial.
McEneff was scoring goals at Irish side Coleraine before Steve Morrow, Arsenal's head of recruitment, recommended the forward to boss Arsene Wenger.
And now he has aspirations to rise to the very top and play for the first-team.
He told the : "I've settled in really well in London.
"I know all the boys at the digs from coming over this past couple of years. When you're at Arsenal it's obviously the aim to one day play for the first team.
"So I’m playing for the next contract and hopefully I can get a bigger and better one and then move on through the ranks – up to the U23s and then on to the first team some day.
"It’s exciting. Especially when people back home are so supportive.”

McEneff becomes the first Irish player to sign for Arsenal since Anthony Stokes who left the club in 2007 without an appearance.
Meanwhile one striker hoping to make an instant impact is club record signing Alexandre Lacazette.
And the Frenchman admitted how Arsenal legend Thierry Henry gave him a kick up the backside to fulfil his potential at Lyon.
Lacazette said: “Thierry shook me up. He told me I always have to keep working on myself, which you tend to forget when you’re young.
“When a player like Thierry speaks, you can’t ignore what he’s saying to you. I realised that to be a great player meant permanent hard work. Someone like him always wanted to improve, even with the career he had.”
