RAFA NADAL moved one step closer to winning Wimbledon - then signed a fan's prosthetic leg.

The world No2 eased past American Donald Young is straight sets 6-4 6-2 7-5.

And as he left Centre Court he was amazed by one supporter's unusual request to sign his artificial limb.

It was feared the Spanish clay king, who won an historic tenth French Open last month, would not have a leg to stand on in the grass tournament.

But it was a walk in the park - and he will now face Russian 30th seed Karen Khachanov for a place in the last-16.

Speaking after the match, he said: "I played a solid match, serving well.

"I'm happy now, it's great to be back in the third round without losing a set.

"I'm just trying to go day by day."

He added: "I take it easy now, just trying to enjoy every moment. I'm having a great season.

"Every match that I win means a lot to me."
