Amir Khan puts lavish £1.6million Bolton mansion which features huge swimming pool up for sale… as bitter family feud rumbles on

AMIR KHAN has put his swanky Bolton home up for sale  – as a bitter family feud which allegedly saw his wife labelled a “gold digger” rumbles on.

The 30-year-old‘s mansion – which features a massive swimming pool and sauna – is on the market for £1.6million, with the former two-time world boxing champion also selling a bungalow opposite his driveway.

The Brit star is flogging the place as his marriage to Faryal Makhdoom comes under trouble, with the 25-year-old make-up artist claiming Khan’s family said she was only interested in the fighter’s money.

She also said his family criticised the clothes she wore claimed she dressed in an ‘un-Islamic’ fashion.

Inside the marital mansion is a mosaic of a pair of boxing gloves with the initials “AK” on them and a fully equipped gym.

The additional L-shaped bungalow boasts four bedrooms with three en-suite bathrooms and a spacious conservatory.

Khan’s  – located in Lostock, three miles outside of his hometown of Bolton, has been lauded online by Rightmove.

A posting on their website read: “The full specification of this exceptional property can only be appreciated by personal inspection whereby viewers will then experience the tremendous statement it makes with an ambience of comfort, health and well being.”

As well as being home to a heated swimming pool, the mansion features a steam room, a granite breakfast bar and six bedrooms.

The upstairs of the house includes a huge open plan kitchen and lounge, where the former WBA and IBF champ has his pool table and home cinema set-up.

In the en-suite bathroom of his master bedroom, there is a television screen installed in the walls above the bath tub.

While the second main bedroom in the property has been converted into a nursery for Khan’s young daughter.

Khan hasn’t fought since his devastating KO loss when challenging Saul Alvarez for the WBC middleweight championship last year.

He has been chasing a fight with Manny Pacquiao who is defending his WBO welterweight crown against Australia’s Jeff Horn this weekend.
