Swansea transfer news: Martin Skrtel lined up as potential Alfie Mawson replacement
Young defender scored for the England Under-21s at the weekend to catch the eye of Tottenham
SWANSEA are lining up ex-Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel as a potential Alfie Mawson replacement.
Boss Paul Clement is bracing himself for offers after the England Under-21s star scored in the comeback win over Slovakia.
And Fenerbahce centre-back Skrtel, 32, joins John Terry on his wishlist, according to the
The Turkish outfit paid £5million in 2016 and would expect to make most of that back if they were to sell.

"The first goal for my country? Brilliant! It's come a bit late but it has come. It's a great feeling."
Tottenham are preparing to test the Swans' resolve with a £15m offer for Mawson, who has impressed since joining from Barnsley last year.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins insists the club are not planning to offload any star players this summer after narrowly avoiding relegation.
But cashing in on Mawson would allow them to add some experience at the back - a much-needed boost after ex-skipper Ashley Williams joined Everton.
Skrtel would offer plenty having played over 200 Premier League games for Liverpool.
And Chelsea legend John Terry is available on a free, although he would command higher wages.
Clement knows Terry well from his days as Blues assistant and has already made contact.
