Mayweather vs McGregor: UK start time, live stream, TV channel, undercard and latest odds for delayed fight

IT is so here - Conor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather in the richest boxing match in history.

The Notorious and boxing king Mayweather both came in under the 154lbs limit at Friday's heated weigh-in.

Mayweather, is putting his unblemished 49-0 record on the line, having come out of retirement at the age of 40 for the bout.

Though he holds a boxing licence from the Nevada State Athletics Commission, this will be McGregor's first pro boxing bout.

When is Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather?

The long-awaited fight takes place tonight - Saturday, August 26 -  or in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time.

The fight was meant to start at 4.15am, but with the undercard running late and US PPV issues the fight will now start around 5am.

US broadcasters Showtime said in a statement: “Due to high demand, we have reports of scattered outages from various cable and satellite provides and the online offering.  We will delay the start of the main event slightly to allow for systems to get on track.  We do not expect a lengthy delay.”

What TV channel is fight on?

Sky Sports will show the fight on their Box Office channel for £19.95.

They will broadcast it via their pay-per-view service live from Las Vegas.

In the US, on the other hand the sum is far pricier.

It will cost £77.60 ($99.99) to watch on Showtime PPV in America in HD, £69.85 ($89.99) in standard definition.

What time does the UK TV coverage begin?

Sky Sports Box Office start their coverage at midnight on Saturday.

Two ex-pugilists will be on the panel for analysis.

Former boxer Carl Froch and ex-UFC ace Dan Hardy will be on punditry duty on Sky.

Anna Woolhouse will be fronting the coverage for Sky Sports.

How can I live stream the fight?

Sky Sports Box Office now allows you to stream the fight live via a PC/Desktop/MAC, NOW TV box, iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet for £19,95. 

It makes it very simple for fans as all you have to do is sign up, make the transaction and watch the fight unfold.

Once you’ve paid, you can then select which viewing online/device you want to watch the fight on using the same login details created at sign up (i.e e-mail address and password).

You cannot watch the event through a Sky or Virgin box if purchased to stream online or via the Box Office apps.
