SCOTLAND fans chanted sick Jimmy Savile song at England fans during World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.

Savile died in 2011 before he was exposed in 2012 for being a paedophile and was said to have abused more than 1,000 victims.

The home fans sang: "Jimmy Savile, he's one of your own."

This comes after England fans disgraced themselves in Germany as the Three Lions lost 1-0 in Dortmund.

Fans did the Nazi salute, which resulted in two supporters receiving life bans.

With fears of crowd trouble, Scottish FA supremo Stewart Regan said the police tried rearranging the fixture ahead of the World Cup qualifier between England and Scotland.

He said: “Three or four weeks ago, the police expressed a preference for the match to be moved. Then we explained that wasn’t possible.

“We discussed that with them and they then asked if the kick-off time could be moved — but we are going with 5pm Saturday.

“To shift the kick-off time in our opinion wouldn’t have made a material impact.

“The issue is the security plan, irrespective of the kick-off time. We made that point to the police."
