Kuznetsov is number 73 in the world, having reached a career high 39 last year.
The 26-year-old's best finish at a grand slam was at the 2016 Australian Open when he reached the fourth round.
He has been as far as the third round in the French Open, where he lost in straight sets in 2015 to Rafael Nadal.
Andrey Kuznetsov is not related to Russia's former French Open and US Open women's champion Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Andy Murray has played Kuznetsov twice, winning both matches.
In the 2014 US Open he beat the Russian 6-1, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2.
And in Beijing last year he recorded a more convincing 6-2, 6-1 win.
