In an explosive start at Hampden Park, Jonny Hayes gave Aberdeen the lead after nine minutes when he volleyed in Nial McGinn's corner.

But Celtic equalised just two minutes later through Stuart Armstrong who fired the ball into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box.

Brendan Rodgers' side were dominant in the second half and their pressure paid off as Rogic bounded forward before blasting it in at the near post.

In 47 games Celts won 43, scored 134 goals, conceded just 27 and lost NONE.

But they made their fans sweat at Hampden in the very last game of the season.

Hayes opened the scoring in the ninth minute when Leigh Griffiths let him run off him and he side-footed home.

But the Hoops hit back just two minutes later with Armstrong levelling with a shot from the edge of the box.

Both sides were wracked with nerves in the second half as sat deeper and deeper but Celtic couldn’t find a way through until Rodgers’ ‘Magic Man’ Rogic weaved his way into the box and slotted home the priceless winner.

Despite Celtic dominating Scottish football, Rodgers revealed there is still ONE target they didn’t achieve.

When asked about his seven targets, he said: “We ticked off six of our targets, one that we didn’t, and we obviously added a few more as we went along to ensure the impetus with the players continued.

“It’s been a dream. You could never of sat down – any manager – coming in at the beginning of the season and wrote down what we would have done.

“I said to the players just before they went out his is a game where you want them to write about it afterwards but you have to make it, you have to make history it doesn’t just happen."
