Heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua exercises his NECK using bizarre ‘torture’ method with coach
Superstar continues to stay in top condition after beating Wladimir Klitschko and isn't leaving anything to chance
ANTHONY JOSHUA is staying one step ahead of the competition by training his NECK muscles using a bizarre exercise method.
The world heavyweight champ is riding high off the back of his stunning win over legendary fighter Wladimir Klitschko.
And with potential bouts against the likes of Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury on the horizon, Joshua is making sure he stays in tip-top condition.
However, one of the gruelling exercises Joshua is undergoing involves his neck – and a harness.
Images posted on his Instagram page show Joshua’s coach attaching a harness to the star's head before pulling with all his weight in a move which looked like it was straight out of a torture chamber.
Joshua counteracts the movement by pushing his head the other way in a method called ‘Critical Neck Training’.
Most boxing coaches overlook it when it comes to training up fighters.
