Anthony Joshua proves the hard work never stops by practicing his punching in a swimming pool

World heavyweight champion was back at the graft just days after smashing Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley

ANTHONY JOSHUA proves the hard work never stops by working on his punching in a swimming pool.

The world heavyweight champion has allowed himself the luxury of a couple days off since smashing Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley last weekend.

But now it appears he is back in training mode and working on his combos... albeit underwater.

Joshua uploaded a video to his Instagram showing him doing a breaststroke in a quiet pool.

He was then shown throwing one-twos in the shallow end.

Alongside the clips he wrote: "Focused to get better... fitter, stronger and smarter.

Joshua's ripped physique is in sharp contrast to disgraced challenger Tyson Fury.

The former heavyweight title holder has not been shy in calling out AJ since his win over Klitschko - who has vowed to come back.

And he insists he is finally shifting the flubber in a Spain bootcamp, apparently training every day for his comeback.

A scrap between the two will likely result in another 90,000 sell-out at Wembley.

But according to Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, that won't happen for at least another year because Fury is "not at the races".

Hearn said: "As it stands, I think the best chance of a Fury fight is April 2018, at Wembley.

"That depends on a successful defence in October or November and everything falling into place for Fury.

"If it does, that will be another incredible night for an incredible fighter. Rest assured, if we can make it happen, we will make it happen."
