鈥楾his is big boy stuff鈥?rants Roy Keane as Man Utd legend blasts stand-in keeper Altay Bayindir after Newcastle blunder

ROY KEANE ranted 鈥渢his is big boy stuff鈥?as he blasted Manchester United goalie Altay Bayindir for his blunder against Newcastle.
The Turkish keeper was drafted into Ruben Amorim鈥檚 XI on Sunday in the wake of Andre Onana鈥檚 dud performance against Lyon.
It marked Bayindir鈥檚 first start for United in the Premier League following a 拢4million move from Fenerbahce last summer.
But the 26-year-old endured a nightmare performance at St James鈥?Park as Newcastle ran riot in a 4-1 win.
Bayindir was helpless as he shipped three goals in the first 64 minutes.
And things got even worse 13 minutes later when he played a disastrous short kick out of his box.
The ball was intercepted by Joelinton, who knocked it straight into the path of fellow Brazilian Bruno Guimaraes.
And the Newcastle captain slammed it past Bayindir to cap a miserable day for United鈥檚 keeper.
Speaking after the game, former Red Devils skipper Keane took aim at Amorim鈥檚 No2.
He believes Bayindir did not show the common sense needed to fill the sticks at this level.

And regardless of the goalie鈥檚 lack of minutes, it simply showed his thinking is not up to the speed of England鈥檚 top flight.
Keane said: 鈥淥f course (he was at fault). You go back to the decision-making. I'm not even sure what the big benefit (would be, making that pass). It's too risky.
鈥淚t's absolutely too risky. There's players around you.聽At the highest level, it's about your decision making.
鈥淚鈥檓 quick to defend goalkeepers when they first come into the team because I think it does take five, six, seven games to get up to speed with the shot. But that basic mistake there, I can't understand it.聽
鈥淭his is big boy stuff. You're up at Newcastle, Newcastle are flying, you do your own homework on who they're playing and when they're pressing you.聽
鈥淚f you're going to go long, make sure you go too far, so then at least it's up the pitch.聽
鈥淏ut if you lose it there, someone is through on goal on top of you. That's just common sense.鈥?/p>
Fellow pundit Les Ferdinand agreed with Keane, adding: 鈥淚t鈥檚 typical of what we're watching with goalkeepers nowadays being too precise, too clever.聽
鈥淛ust put your foot through that, say, 鈥榳e're 3-1 down, let's not go 4-1 down by making a silly mistake.鈥?He doesn't, he tries to clip a little dinky ball into the centre-forward.
鈥淚鈥檓 just thinking: 鈥榳hat are you doing?鈥欌€?/p>
MANCHESTER UNITED'S worst ever Premier League season was confirmed with a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle.
The Red Devils are now guaranteed to finish on less than 56 points, which is their lowest ever Prem total.
And they can only get that high if they win ALL of their last six games.
If they're not careful, they could even finish 17th - just one spot above the marooned bottom three.
It was another dark day that reflects a poor campaign for United as Newcastle carved them open with ease in the second-half.
Ruben Amorim dropped keeper Andre Onana after his horror show against Lyon midweek.
But stand-in Altay Bayindir had a game to forget too.
Sandro Tonali's volley, a double by Harvey Barnes and a Bruno Guimaraes finish cancelled out Alejandro Garnacho's goal.
Here is how聽SunSport's Gary Stonehouse rated the United performances...
