Amir Khan and Kell Brook fight could finally be on after Khan admits the time is right to take on rival

AMIR KHAN has admitted he finally wants to fight fierce rival Kell Brook for the first time.
The British stars have built a rivalry that's been going on for the best part of a decade, but they have not yet met in the ring.
But light-welterweight Khan now feels the time is right for a bout against the IBF welterweight champion.
Brook has made it clear on several occasions that he wants to fight Khan but up until now, Khan has always declined the opportunity.
He has not fought since last May when he moved up to a catch-weight of 155-pounds and was knocked out in six rounds by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

Brook meanwhile last fought when he moved up two weight divisions to take on middleweight supremo Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin - but was stopped in five rounds.
And both have been injured after those respective fights, Khan having hand surgery which kept him out of the ring for the rest of last year, while Brook suffered a fractured orbital bone.
But Khan told Sky Sports: "Kell Brook is coming off a loss to Triple G where he went up a weight and I did that too against Canelo."
Khan said he is willing to face Brook even if he loses to promising contender Errol Spence Jr on May 27th.
He added: "So I think it makes sense for us to fight now. He's got Errol Spence next and if he wins that then it's a title fight but I think it's a big fight without a title - I think it's one that fight fans want to see."
