Anthony Joshua undergoes bizarre ‘fire cupping’ therapy ahead of his mouthwatering heavyweight fight against Wladimir Klitschko

ANTHONY JOSHUA is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares to fight Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday - even resorting to a bizarre ancient muscle treatment.

The current IBF heavyweight world champion took a break from pad work and lifting weights to undergo some "fire cupping" therapy.

Joshua uploaded a video to social media showing him laid on his front, as cups were placed all over his back, heated up by flame.

The cups create a suction on the body that are said to dispel stagnant blood under the skin.

The therapy, which is said to promote healthy blood flow, also leaves a mark for a few days at least

Joshua and Klitschko will clash for the world heavyweight title – in the biggest boxing event ever staged in Britain this Saturday.

The big-punching rivals will meet in the ring at Wembley Stadium, with capacity for the first extended to allow 90,000 to be there to witness it.
