The Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer will appear in Ritchie's new movie Wife & Dog alongside the big names.
Snowden was on hand at the track during the jumps meeting, with his scenes expected to be filmed once racing had finished.
Details of the film's plot are being kept under wraps but according to Variety is to focus on the 'colourful, back-stabbing world of the British aristocracy'.
Commenting on his role in the flick and how it came about, Snowden said: "It is a bit of a bizarre scenario.
"I got a phone call out of the blue asking if I would be interested in this role in this new film Guy Ritchie is producing.
"I’ve not been told much about it, but Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Sir Anthony are all in it.
"In the film Sir Anthony has a string of racehorses and I’ve been asked to become his trainer.
"I’m going to do a little bit of filming in the paddock after racing at Sandown.
"I’ve been told to be there to take a few shots for the film."
Gone Girl star Pike looked to be in great spirits despite the bitterly cold temperatures as shooting took place.
She had Lock Stock director Ritchie cracking up in photos from the track, while Hannibal star Sir Anthony looked all business.
