ARNE SLOT has been hit with a two-match touchline ban following his red card at the end of Wednesday's Merseyside derby.
Slot was shown a red card by referee Michael Oliver after the final whistle, following a dramatic few minutes that saw tensions flare between Liverpool and Everton players.
The Premier League have revealed on their website that Slot will face two matches away from the sidelines as a result of the incident.
The Reds boss is said to have used "offensive, insulting, or abusive language".
Footage following the game showed Slot approach referee Michael Oliver to have a few words and shake his hand.
But as the pair shook hands, Oliver quickly reached into his pocket before producing a red card for the Dutchman.
Slot will now be banned from Liverpool's home match with Wolves on Sunday and their trip to face Aston Villa on February 19.
Liverpool won't even be able to rely on assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff on the touchlines for their clash with Wolves this weekend either.
That's because Hulshoff was also given his marching orders by Oliver during the incident.
It's currently unknown if Hulshoff's ban will extend past the customary one match.

Liverpool are set to have former Everton star Johnny Heitinga in charge for their Anfield matchup with Wolves instead.
Heitingha, 41, is an assistant coach at Liverpool despite playing nearly 150 games for the Toffees.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Liverpool's Curtis Jones were both sent off for two bookable offences during the 2-2. The pair will each serve one-match bans.
They were both dismissed after a brawl broke out amid post-match celebrations by Doucoure nearby the Liverpool away fans in Goodison Park.
Everything had boiled over after Everton defender James Tarkowski thundered home a 98th minute equaliser to snatch a point from bitter rivals Liverpool in the last ever Merseyside derby at Goodison.
Despite dropping points Liverpool managed to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points, putting them in a commanding position over title rivals Arsenal.
