BASTIAN SCWEINSTEIGER looks to be adjusting to life in America seamlessly as he was in attendance to cheer on local ice hockey side Chicago Blackhawks.
The 32-year-old was seen sporting the colours of the six-time Stanley Cup winners as he cosied up with his retired tennis star wife Ana Ivanovic.
Unfortunately for the German World Cup winner, the Blackhawks lost to the Nashville Predators 1-0 at the United Center in Game 1 of the best-of-seven series in the Western Conference quarter-finals.
Viktor Arvidsson scored the only goal of the match, but that didn't stop the former Manchester United man from having a beaming smile across his face.
Jose Mourinho allowed Schweinsteiger to end his Red Devils nightmare after being a peripheral figure at Old Trafford this season, and made a move to MLS side Chicago Fire in March.
