‘I was betrayed’ – Olympic volleyball medallist breaks down in tears as she accuses ‘trash’ boyfriend of cheating on her

A PARIS 2024 Olympic medallist broke down in tears after accusing her “trash” boyfriend of cheating on her.

Brazilian volleyball star Natalia Araujo won a bronze Olympic medal at the Paris Games last summer.

The 27-year-old, who is also a Brazilian Army Sergeant, is one of the sport’s top names in her homeland.

But Araujo went viral for different reasons on Sunday after accusing boyfriend, Joao Pedro, of cheating on her in a tearful livestream.

The volleyball ace claimed she had travelled to Rio De Janeiro to pay Pedro a surprise visit.

She had booked dinner for the pair of them ahead of her flight home on Monday.

But Araujo alleges she was left stunned after catching her other half cheating with digital influencer Luana Maria.

Online star Maria has 85,000 followers on social media.

And she previously made headlines in Brazil for an affair with actor Caio Castro.

Araujo said: “Do you know what Natinho did? He cheated on me with that last woman in the video he posted.

“It got to a point where I can’t hide it anymore. I was betrayed, and it’s important for everyone to know the truth.”

Going on to call Pedro “trash”, she added: “Everything is fine, I’m safe now.

“I’m at a friend’s house who has put me up here. 

“Tomorrow I’m going straight to the airport but I’m fine.”

Neither Araujo's partner Pedro or influencer Maria have commented on her claims.
