Dillian Whyte vs Joe Joyce ANNOUNCED in bonanza heavyweight card at UK venue featuring British stars

Frank Warren revealed his new DAZN fight schedule

JOE JOYCE continues his heavyweight comeback on April 5 with a civil war against Dillian Whyte.

The 2016 Team GB silver medal winner - who was cruelly robbed of a Rio gold by corrupt scoring - is rebuilding after a punishing points loss against Derek Chisora last year.

The 39-year-old Putney puncher has a run-out in Bournemouth booked for March 1, to blow away the cobwebs.

And, at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester a month later, he will go into battle with 36-year-old Brixton banger Whyte and hope to blow him away too.

Whyte has not been seen in a British ring since 2022 when he laboured to a points win over America’s Jermaine Franklin.

That narrow decision earned him a mega-money summer fight with Anthony Joshua.

But in August of 2023 that battle was binned after Whyte failed a doping test.

Whyte won in Ireland and Gibraltar last year and has now been handed an all-London shootout with The Juggernaut.

The pair were sat at ringside for Chisora’s brilliant win over Otto Wallin at the weekend.

But there were no awkward exchanges or staged aggravation, as they were sat just a couple of chairs apart in the VIP row.

In another exciting all-English heavyweight clash, Lawrence Okolie and former cruiserweight knockout artist Richard Riakporhe will meet.

Okolie lost his WBO cruiserweight world title to Chris Billam-Smith in 2023 and has packed on the pounds to go up to the biggest-money division.

Riakporhe also came unstuck for the first time against Bournemouth boogieman CBS in 2024, when his Crystal Palace home match was won by the Cherries visitor.

And to complete an all-heavyweight Frank Warren show, dangerous David Adeleye will go after Jeamie TKV.

Hall of Fame promoter Warren announced the first three shows of his DAZN schedule after leaving TNT Sports this year.

Anthony Cacace, 36, will face former super-featherweight world champion Leigh Wood, also 36, on May 10 in Nottingham.

And Warren also announced the signing of ex-undisputed super-lightweight king Josh Taylor, 34.

The Scottish star moves up to welterweight to fight Ekow Essuman, 35, also some time in May in Glasgow.
