Donald Trump becomes first sitting President to watch Super Bowl live as POTUS arrives and greets Chiefs stars
Trump was also spotted on live television during the national anthem
PRESIDENT Donald Trump got spotted meeting with a Kansas City Chiefs star ahead of Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans on Sunday.
The commander-in-chief Trump has made history, becoming the first president to appear at a big game NFL showdown.

Fox NFL's cameras spotted Trump's arrival at the Super Bowl with his kids Ivanka and Eric Trump to watch the Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 47th president was seen greeting fans at the Caesars Superdome and was also joined by one of his daughter's sons, as well as Eric's wife Lara Trump.
While the Chiefs were warming up on the field, the team's star defensive tackle Chris Jones walked to Trump and shook his hands.
The six-time Pro Bowler Jones also appeared to say something to Trump during the sequence.

During the national anthem, the Fox NFL cameras spotted Trump in a suite box.
The crowd in The Big Easy could be heard cheering Trump.
And after Trump was spotted on TV, Jones was shown crying while on the sidelines.
Fans were quick to react to Trump's TV sequence on X.

Before the game started, Donald, his children, and his grandchild were seen deboarding Air Force One at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in New Orleans.
It was revealed earlier last week that Trump was planning on being at the NFL contest, making the politician the first-sitting president in US history to make the appearance.
Trump also sat for an interview with Fox News host and top political anchor Bret Baier.

The pre-recorded interview aired on Fox's pregame show just hours before the game started.
Before the game, Trump shared that he'll be rooting for the Chiefs.
It was revealed that the stadium's security would be strengthened in preparation for Trump's attendance - close to eight months after he survived an assassination attempt.

And the tightened-up security comes more than a month after the New Year's Day terrorist attack in New Orleans that claimed the lives of 14 people and injured at least 30 others.
The Super Bowl is set for kickoff at 6:30 pm Eastern.
